Captains log March 26th 2025 Today I woke up to a smoke alarm nothing was on fire thank goodness. Saw the wonderful Carola on Twitch she is such a nice person I hope to get to meet her one day. Today is a busy day I am going to do a Ink review then I am off to THE ORANGE CIRCLE to a place called CONTRA / M Lovewell to hopefully hang out with some pen friends I’m bringing a few ink samples and some dip pens to try them out. Then I’m going to have pizza on the corner at BLAZE pizza so good. Then I’m going to pick up some meds from the pharmacy and come home :)… Then ill prolly make a Haul video if I bring anything home or buy anything from M Lovewell :) thats all for now.
Its been so long sense I’ve blogged about anything and I apologize for that. I hope you are all doing well. I have recently started teaching The Art of Cursive Writing course on youtube please go check it out even if you know how to write in cursive I think it is a valuable course for everyone to take. I have a new pen coming and some new ink coming and hopefully in the next little while I will have some paper coming in so look forward to that. What else is going on in the life of MMD The house has gotten a few new room mates they are all cooperative so far. I didnt end up going to the Los Angeles Pen Show cause I just didnt have the money to go anywhere or spend money.. I’ve been trying to do a low buy no buy. I did all my spending before midnight on new years eve .. I did buy some pilot frixion pens which I have been looking for a decent yellow that isnt too dark that isnt too light and I think I’ve found the one so we will see on sunday when I do a bujo setup video weather its a good one or not. Daphiny has been a wonderful addition to this house. She practically takes me everywhere in her car as I dont own a car anymore.. I went had my annual physical and the doctor was impressed I’ve actually lost some weight and she asked me what I’ve been doing and I told her “ dont laugh arlene … I’ve been eating ice cream sandwiches and not walking” she laughed and said” well keep doing whatever you’re doing” …. so thats what I’ve been doing. Plans for the upcoming month are : eat a shamrock shake, do a little traveling I need to get out of this house for a little while and go drop off a friends nib that I still have. Go shopping at bath and body works for some flavor country they have cucumber melon that is my absolute #1 FAVORITE smell right next to Hubo Boss Elements. Well I think thats All I have for now I will post some pictures in the photos gallery of the new pens I got. Take care talk soon MMD

Today I got up at the butt crack of dawn due to the sun shining in my room then I woke up got the ink review all set up wrote in my journal ate my pills felt so energized that I could conquer the world but then I went down a rabbit hole about star trek then a rabbit hole on calligraphy and now I’m sitting here waiting for 1pm to roll around so I can do my ink review what do you do on a Sunday morning do you have a routine ? do you go to church ? do you have a specific routine for sunday mornings let me know I would be very curious to see.. and now I am going to write a letter till my 1pm ink review then I will have a zoom calligraphy class if anyone is interested you can catch the link on my instagram.com/marilyndarling <-

its ok its not the best kind of dry … I always find Birmingham Pen Company inks very dry does anyone else think their dry ? >:(
